MEET
LINDA
Born and bred in Kingussie, I left the Highlands to study and explore the world eventually returning to where I knew I belonged. Most of my life has been spent living in rural areas where I have had to feel connected with my environment. As a keen skier, cyclist, runner, dancer and shinty player, yoga has allowed me to enjoy my passions by keeping me supple and injury-free.
MY EXPERIENCE
I trained under June Mitchell and Judi Farrell at the Classical School of Yoga so I could carry on my yoga journey and share with others.
My traditional Ashtanga-based training has helped me develop my knowledge and understanding of the philosophy of yoga, pranayama practice, the anatomy and meditation techniques. I feel fortunate to have been trained by inspiring people in their own field of expertise. It is a constant journey of discovery and I regularly attend CPD courses as part of my ongoing practice.
I have recently trained in Menopause Yoga with Petra Coveney @menopauseyoga - the first yoga teacher to be accepted into the British Menopause Society for medical and health practitioners.
WHY PRACTICE YOGA WITH ME?
Enhances sleep - develops mental clarity - balances hormones - reduces anxiety - tones and strengthens the body - calms the nervous system - medicine-free way to treat ailments - it’s impossible not to feel better after practicing yoga!
